1. Flattened circles in the buttercups where Strange has been taking a nap.
1b. When I drop my face into Tilda’s belly, I find she is already purring: she’d had a warm-up cuddle from John before I got there.
1c. I thought our last pride was chatty but Strange and Kaufman are the meowiest cats I’ve ever met – and the latter is the most cheerful cat I’ve ever lived with: he’s not an attention fiend per se, but always wants to say hello and yes, I will accept that cuddle, thankyouplease.
2. I forget how light and dry the stones look after they’ve been cleaned.
3. Two greens, an orange and a red mixed in with the pasta. John says dinner looks very summery.
